Administrative Assistant
<p>We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a short-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing a variety of administrative tasks. The position has an expected duration of 2-6 weeks and offers a chance to contribute to organizational efficiency while working closely with a dynamic team.</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><p>• Manage daily administrative tasks, including organizing files and handling office correspondence.</p><p>• Respond to incoming calls professionally and provide accurate information to callers.</p><p>• Perform data entry tasks with precision to maintain organized and up-to-date records.</p><p>• Oversee reception duties such as greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.</p><p>• Distribute daily mail and ensure timely handling of incoming and outgoing correspondence.</p><p>• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to create reports, maintain records, and process documentation.</p><p>• Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents and ensure they are properly stored.</p><p>• Support team members by assisting with additional tasks as needed to maintain smooth office operations.</p>
• Proven experience in administrative support or similar roles.<br>• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to create and edit documents efficiently.<br>• Strong communication skills for managing telephone inquiries and interacting with visitors.<br>• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.<br>• Ability to multitask and prioritize duties in a fast-paced office setting.<br>• Familiarity with office equipment such as scanners and printers.<br>• Previous experience handling mail and reception tasks is preferred.
