We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to financial operations and ensure accuracy in accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage month-end close activities, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.<br>• Oversee general ledger entries and maintain the integrity of financial data.<br>• Prepare and review journal entries to support accurate financial reporting.<br>• Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.<br>• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between cash balances and recorded transactions.<br>• Utilize accounting software, such as Yardi, to streamline processes and maintain efficiency.<br>• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.<br>• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.<br>• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.<br>• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting department.

• Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.<br>• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries.<br>• Strong ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.<br>• Experience with bank reconciliations and cash management.<br>• Familiarity with Yardi or similar accounting software.<br>• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.<br>• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.<br>• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
