Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

With a workforce of more than 500 across multiple sites in Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, the company has established a reputation for supporting its community and continuing to innovate within the industry. This leadership role is pivotal in optimizing financial performance and supporting strategic business decisions. Acting as a crucial partner to senior management, the FP&amp;A Manager will deliver key financial insights, forecasts, and analytics for operational efficiency and sustainable growth. The role oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions across the organization.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>For immediate inquiries please contact Katie Ruger on LinkedIn or call 616-600-8734!</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and coordinate annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term planning processes.</li><li>Deliver comprehensive financial analysis, variance reports, and performance metrics to support business and program leaders.</li><li>Collaborate with operations, contracts, and program teams to ensure accurate financial tracking and adherence to relevant regulations.</li><li>Develop and maintain advanced financial models for pricing strategies and cost analysis.</li><li>Prepare and present financial outcomes, trends, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.</li><li>Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and policies.</li><li>Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and reporting.</li><li>Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that financial reporting aligns with business execution and contractual requirements.</li><li>Submit periodic forecasts and financial updates to the corporate headquarters.</li></ul><p><br></p>
<p><br></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with 12+ years progressive experience in financial analysis, planning, or program finance, ideally within a federal contracting environment.</li><li>Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power BI, Power Query).</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in turning complex data into actionable strategies.</li><li>In-depth understanding of cost accounting standards.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>
