<p>Highly regarded boutique litigation firm in downtown Minneapolis that is looking to add a <strong>Business Litigation Associate Attorney</strong> to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with <strong>2–6 years of complex civil and/or commercial litigation experience</strong> who wants meaningful responsibility, sophisticated work, and the chance to work closely with experienced litigators.</p><p><br></p><p>The firm handles challenging disputes involving businesses, individuals, and organizations across a range of industries. Associates are given the opportunity to be actively involved in cases from the early stages of a dispute through resolution and trial.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct detailed legal research and apply applicable law to complex factual and legal issues</li><li>Draft substantive pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery-related documents, and other court filings</li><li>Handle written discovery, including developing discovery strategies and addressing contested discovery issues</li><li>Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation</li><li>Take and defend depositions commensurate with experience</li><li>Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial</li><li>Participate in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and other proceedings</li><li>Work closely with partners and other attorneys to evaluate cases and develop litigation strategy</li></ul><p><br></p>
