<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor security alerts, logs, and events across SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoints, and cloud platforms.</li><li>Conduct initial triage, investigation, and escalation of potential security incidents.</li><li>Perform vulnerability scans, analyze results, and assist in remediation planning.</li><li>Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and root cause analysis.</li><li>Maintain and update security policies, standards, and documentation.</li><li>Assist with threat hunting and identification of suspicious patterns or behaviors.</li><li>Collaborate with IT, network, and application teams to ensure secure configurations and patch compliance.</li><li>Research emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and trends; recommend security improvements.</li><li>Participate in audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments.</li><li>Support security awareness training initiatives.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p>

<p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>2–5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or related IT fields.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar).</li><li>Familiarity with endpoint security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management tools.</li><li>Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, routing, switching).</li><li>Knowledge of common attack vectors, malware types, and threat actor techniques.</li><li>Ability to analyze logs and correlate events across multiple systems.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant certifications (Security+, CySA+, CEH, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).</li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) security monitoring.</li><li>Background in scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell).</li><li>Experience working in a SOC environment.</li><li>Understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).</li></ul><p><br></p>
