Low Voltage Technician
<p><strong>Low Voltage Technician – Jacksonville, FL </strong></p><p>We’re seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Jacksonville. In this contract-to-permanent role, you’ll support the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of low voltage systems while delivering excellent customer service. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and looking to grow with a fast‑moving team.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Perform routine on-site maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently.</li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues in low voltage systems.</li><li>Verify installations and confirm proper functionality before project closeout.</li><li>Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and supervisors throughout each job.</li><li>Accurately document work completed, time on site, parts used, and service results.</li><li>Maintain company vehicles in safe, clean, and compliant condition.</li><li>Respond to scheduled after-hours service calls as needed.</li><li>Support training of new technicians on systems and procedures.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to resolve service-related challenges.</li><li>Complete additional tasks as assigned to support overall operations.</li></ul>
<p><strong>At least 1 year of experience in a service‑related role</strong>, ideally working with low voltage systems.</p><p><strong>Hands-on proficiency with network cabling, low voltage cabling, A/V systems, and CCTV installation.</strong></p><p><strong>Strong computer skills</strong> with the ability to navigate technical software, tools, and diagnostic applications.</p><p><strong>Solid reasoning and troubleshooting abilities</strong>, with the capability to solve problems under general supervision.</p><p><strong>Excellent communication skills</strong>, including the ability to deliver clear updates and customer-facing presentations.</p><p><strong>Strong organizational and prioritization skills</strong> to manage workload in a fast‑paced environment.</p><p><strong>Proven ability to work collaboratively</strong> within diverse teams and adapt to shifting priorities and organizational changes.</p>
