Bookkeeper/Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team in Haltom City, Texas. This role plays a crucial part in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong QuickBooks expertise and the ability to work independently while maintaining precise records and supporting organizational financial consistency.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Perform full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.<br>• Manage billing operations, including preparing, reconciling, and processing invoices.<br>• Enter and categorize financial data in QuickBooks with a high level of accuracy.<br>• Handle purchase orders and ensure compliance with internal procedures.<br>• Reconcile accounts and financial statements to maintain up-to-date records.<br>• Organize and maintain documentation for all accounting entries and transactions.<br>• Assist in month-end closing activities and provide detailed reports as needed.<br>• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting workflows for greater efficiency.<br>• Support the financial operations of a business with approximately $5M in annual revenue.<br>• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across all accounting functions.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks.<br>• Proven expertise in full-cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes.<br>• Familiarity with handling purchase orders and performing detailed data entry.<br>• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in financial tasks.<br>• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.<br>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.<br>• Experience in the construction industry or similar fields is a plus but not mandatory.<br>• Proficiency in identifying and implementing process improvements within accounting workflows.
