Payroll Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Payroll & Timekeeping detail oriented with strong UKG expertise to support and oversee payroll operations. <br> This is more of a operational role focused on ensuring payroll accuracy, resolving time and attendance issues, and supporting biweekly payroll processing. <br> This position is not an IT role — it is hands-on within Payroll. <br> The ideal candidate will understand how payroll systems function, identify discrepancies in timecards or pay data, and work cross-functionally with HR and IT to resolve issues efficiently. <br> Key Responsibilities: <br> Oversee and support UKG Time & Attendance and payroll system functionality Review, audit, and process biweekly payroll data including timecards, overtime, and adjustments Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies and system-related issues Serve as a liaison between Payroll, HRIS, and IT Support onboarding of new timekeeping programs and system enhancements Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and internal controls
Requirements: 5+ years of payroll experience with strong focus on Time & Attendance Must have hands-on experience with UKG Experience working within payroll systems and ERPs Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance Advanced Excel skills This is a detail-oriented, problem-solving role for someone who understands payroll systems deeply and can oversee operations to ensure smooth, accurate payroll processing.
