We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to perform a broad range of accounting functions. Acts as the lead accountant for several small associations, preparing and presenting financial statements on a regular basis. This individual will be responsible for monthly and year-end closings, payroll, general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations and analysis, inventory accounting, project reconciliations, coordinating forecasts and budgets, preparation of internal financial reports, and supporting external audits. The position also involves updating departmental procedures and contributing to special projects and process improvements. Job Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required • Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience • Proficiency in accounting systems and software; experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is highly desirable • Experience with payroll systems; UKG and Paylocity a plus • Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools This position requires the individual to work from ACI headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI.
