We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Elyria, Ohio. This is a Contract to permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to grow within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing high-volume accounts payable tasks while collaborating with vendors and supporting general accounting operations. Responsibilities: • Process and manage a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency. • Prepare payments and ensure all transactions are ready for processing. • Organize and maintain documents for imaging and record-keeping purposes. • Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve issues and inquiries. • Perform general accounting tasks and support related financial operations. • Utilize Excel proficiently to analyze and manage data. • Conduct check runs and ensure timely payment processing. • Code invoices accurately to ensure proper ledger allocation. • Assist with invoice processing and reconciliation tasks.

• Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role. • Proficiency in using Excel and other relevant software tools. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to handle high-volume invoice processing efficiently. • Excellent communication skills for vendor interactions and issue resolution. • Knowledge of coding invoices and general accounting principles. • Experience with check runs and payment preparation. • Ability to work fully onsite during standard business hours.
