<p>We are seeking a General Counsel who will serves as an e-commerce organization’s chief legal strategist and risk steward. This role leads and builds the enterprise risk, governance, and compliance function. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the General Counsel ensures legal integrity across all business activities while enabling smart, scalable decision-making.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead, design, and scale the company’s legal, risk, and governance function with enterprise-wide impact</li><li>Develop and execute legal strategies aligned with business objectives and federal, state, and international regulatory requirements</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. federal and state laws, as well as relevant international regulations impacting global operations, customers, data, and supply chains</li><li>Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in domestic and international laws and regulations; assess business impact and guide leadership on required actions</li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risk across all business operations</li><li>Provide executive-level counsel on corporate governance, compliance, privacy, and risk management matters</li><li>Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and policies </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and Finance, to ensure legal compliance across various areas.</li><li>Support and manage litigation strategy and working with external counsel in legal proceedings. </li><li>Partner with senior leadership to balance growth, innovation, and risk in a fast-paced e-commerce environment</li></ul>

<p>• A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate law or related legal fields.</p><p>• Proven expertise in corporate law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.</p><p>• Strong ability to manage legal risks and develop strategic solutions.</p><p>• Experience in advising executive teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.</p><p>• Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills.</p><p>• Licensed and in good standing with the bar association of at least one U.S. state.</p>
