Billing Manager
We are looking for an experienced Billing Manager to lead and oversee the billing operations for a legal firm in Dallas, Texas. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage a team, ensure accuracy, and streamline billing processes while supporting attorneys and staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of billing software and accounting procedures.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Supervise the billing department, ensuring efficient operations and providing training to team members.<br>• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to distribute and manage proformas.<br>• Process client invoices using Elite 3E and other billing systems.<br>• Perform variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies in billing.<br>• Develop and implement strategies to improve billing processes and enhance efficiency.<br>• Maintain compliance with legal and financial regulations related to billing.<br>• Provide support to the Chief Financial Officer on billing-related matters.<br>• Generate and review reports to monitor billing performance and trends.<br>• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for all clients.
<p>Must Have&#39;s</p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting and billing within a legal environment.</li><li>3 years of experience with Aderant or Elite legal billing software</li></ul><p><br></p><p>• Strong analytical skills for variance analysis and process improvement.</p><p>• Ability to effectively supervise and train a team.</p><p>• Familiarity with legal billing procedures and compliance standards.</p><p>• Bachelor&#39;s degree in a relevant field preferred, but not required.</p><p>• Excellent organizational and communication skills.</p><p>• Proven ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and administrative staff.</p>
