We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Costa Mesa, California. This role requires strong expertise in accounts payable processes and familiarity with high-volume transaction environments, particularly within manufacturing or distribution industries, and Oracle software experience. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic workplace. Responsibilities:• Perform accurate and timely processing of invoices, ensuring compliance with established procedures.• Utilize 3-way matching techniques to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.• Handle coding of invoices and ensure proper allocation to accounts.• Conduct regular check runs and resolve discrepancies promptly.• Manage high volumes of transactions efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.• Leverage Oracle Fusion or ESB, or similar Oracle systems for AP functions.• Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve payment issues.• Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes.• Communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience in manufacturing or distribution industries.• Proficiency in 3-way matching techniques.• Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or ESB is required (or another form of Oracle).• Strong ability to manage large volumes of transactions in a fast-paced environment.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Reliable and detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.• Familiarity with coding invoices and check runs.• Ability to adapt to changing processes and workflows effectively.
