Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Chester, Virginia. In this Contract to potential long-term position, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations within the construction sector. The ideal candidate will thrive in both independent and collaborative work environments, demonstrating strong organizational abilities and excellent communication skills.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Handle incoming and outgoing calls with professionalism, ensuring accurate information is conveyed.<br>• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.<br>• Perform data entry tasks with precision, utilizing Foundation software and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Manage email correspondence efficiently, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.<br>• Schedule appointments and maintain calendars to support team members and operations.<br>• Execute receptionist duties, greeting visitors and maintaining a welcoming office environment.<br>• Prepare and format documents using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint as needed.<br>• Organize and maintain office files to ensure easy accessibility and order.<br>• Support administrative tasks such as preparing reports and coordinating meetings.<br>• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
• Minimum of 1 year of administrative or receptionist experience.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.<br>• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple tasks.<br>• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.<br>• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.<br>• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn new skills.<br>• Familiarity with data entry processes and software systems like Foundation.<br>• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships.
