We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Cerritos, California. This role involves ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices, payments, and financial records. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of experience in accounts payable and familiarity with SAP Business One.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Process invoices by accurately coding and verifying them against purchase orders or contracts.<br>• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks and Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions.<br>• Maintain vendor accounts by reconciling statements and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.<br>• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all accounts payable activities.<br>• Collaborate with the accounting team to support month-end closing tasks.<br>• Monitor and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account statuses.<br>• Assist in implementing and utilizing SAP Business One to streamline accounts payable processes.<br>• Generate reports and provide documentation for audits or internal reviews.<br>• Review expense reports and ensure proper authorization before payment.<br>• Support special projects or additional duties as assigned by the accounting manager.

• Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.<br>• Proficiency in coding invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.<br>• Strong knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check runs.<br>• Familiarity with SAP Business One is highly preferred.<br>• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.<br>• Strong communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.<br>• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
