<p>Our company is seeking an experienced Accountant for a contract-to-permanent opportunity in Canton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in financial operations and demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical skills.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Accurately process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.</li><li>Prepare, enter, and review general ledger entries in compliance with accounting standards.</li><li>Complete routine bank and credit card reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records.</li><li>Perform journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.</li><li>Leverage QuickBooks Online for automated uploads and ongoing financial management.</li><li>Collaborate with merchant banking operations to optimize financial processes.</li><li>Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain organizational financial health.</li><li>Generate and analyze financial reports using Microsoft Excel for key decision-making.</li><li>Maintain compliance with established accounting policies and procedures, consistently meeting deadlines.</li></ul>

• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.<br>• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.<br>• Strong knowledge of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts.<br>• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data effectively.<br>• Prior experience in merchant banking is a plus.<br>• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.<br>• High attention to detail and accuracy in working with financial records.<br>• Willingness to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
