Responsibilities:• Conduct and respond to depositions as part of ongoing litigation matters.• Prepare legal motions, briefs, and other court filings with strong attention to detail and persuasive analysis.• Represent clients during hearings, conferences, and trial proceedings when needed.• Work closely with colleagues to evaluate case strategy, manage deadlines, and move matters forward efficiently.• Handle discovery activities, including reviewing records, preparing responses, and supporting evidence development.• Maintain organized case files and monitor progress across a range of insurance defense matters.• Contribute to the defense of claims involving areas such as construction incidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, toxic exposure, product-related disputes, auto claims, and homeowner matters.

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. • Active admission to the New York State Bar. • At least 2 years of experience in insurance defense litigation or a closely related legal practice. • Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other litigation documents effectively. • Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures, discovery practice, and case development. • Strong legal research, written communication, analytical thinking, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage assignments independently while also collaborating effectively within a legal team. • Detail-oriented mindset with a clear interest in continued growth as a litigator.
