Financial Aid Analyst/Specialist
We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Aid Analyst/Specialist to join our team in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in supporting students with their financial aid needs while ensuring accurate data management and compliance with regulations. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in data entry, analysis, and helping students navigate financial aid processes.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide guidance and support to students regarding financial aid applications and eligibility.<br>• Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial aid records using Excel and other relevant tools.<br>• Analyze financial aid data to ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address student inquiries and resolve financial aid issues.<br>• Monitor financial aid disbursements and ensure timely processing.<br>• Assist in preparing reports and summaries related to financial aid activities.<br>• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to clarify financial aid information.<br>• Stay updated on changes in financial aid policies and procedures to maintain compliance.<br>• Conduct reviews of financial aid applications to verify accuracy and completeness.<br>• Support the department in maintaining a high level of service to all stakeholders.
• Proven experience in student financial aid processes and procedures.<br>• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.<br>• Strong data entry skills with attention to numeric accuracy and detail.<br>• Excellent communication skills to interact with students and staff effectively.<br>• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Familiarity with financial aid regulations and compliance standards.<br>• Analytical skills to review and interpret financial aid data.<br>• Capacity to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
