<p>Robert Half is recruiting for a hands-on Accounting Manager/ Consultant for a large US entity which is part of publicly traded company overseas. The interim Accounting Manager must know how to get things done, who rolls up their sleeves, systems savvy, dives into the details, and leads with precision and urgency. You’ll be responsible for managing the month-end close process, driving accountability, and ensuring financial accuracy. This role will be onsite located in Brea, CA. </p><p>Responsibilities</p><p>- Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process</p><p>- Manage a team of accountants, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence</p><p>- Utilize FloQast, Blackline, or similar tools to streamline close workflows and reconciliations</p><p>- Own journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation</p><p>- Maintain and enforce internal controls</p><p>- Drive process improvements and automation across ERP and financial systems</p><p>- Support external audits, and special projects including new location launches</p><p><br></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred</p><p>- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role</p><p>- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, public company reporting, and internal controls</p><p>- Hands-on experience with FloQast, Blackline, or similar close tools</p><p>- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel</p><p>- A doer with a bias for action — you take initiative and follow through</p><p>- Assertive, detail-oriented, and unafraid to challenge inefficiencies</p><p>- Experience in multi-location, high-volume environments — hospitality, entertainment, or retail preferred</p>

<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.</p><p>• A minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.</p><p>• Strong understanding of US GAAP, public company reporting standards, and internal controls.</p><p>• Hands-on experience with close management tools such as FloQast or Blackline.</p><p>• Proficiency in ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or similar platforms, along with advanced Excel skills.</p><p>• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Strong attention to detail and the ability to challenge inefficiencies constructively.</p><p>• Experience working in multi-location, high-volume industries such as hospitality, retail, or entertainment is preferred.</p>
