Legal Assistant
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal support, particularly in areas like estate planning, estate administration, probate litigation, and trust management. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide comprehensive administrative support for attorneys specializing in estate planning, administration, and litigation.<br>• Prepare, review, and manage legal documents with precision and professionalism.<br>• Handle e-filing and electronic document submissions in compliance with court requirements.<br>• Coordinate and manage deadlines, schedules, and ongoing case tasks to ensure timely completion.<br>• Conduct research and gather information relevant to cases and legal proceedings.<br>• Liaise with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication.<br>• Maintain and update case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.<br>• Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports using advanced software tools.<br>• Organize and prioritize multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines.<br>• Support team collaboration by sharing updates and coordinating efforts across departments.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in a full-service law firm.<br>• Proficiency in estate planning, estate administration, probate litigation, or trust management.<br>• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<br>• Demonstrated ability to handle e-filing and electronic document management systems.<br>• Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize effectively.<br>• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all work.<br>• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.<br>• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
