I9 Compliance Assistant
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented I9 Compliance Assistant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide vital support to the Human Resources department, ensuring compliance with employment verification processes and regulations. This is a Contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment within the healthcare industry.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Manage and maintain I9 compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.<br>• Handle data entry tasks with precision to support employment verification processes.<br>• Respond to inbound calls professionally and provide accurate information as needed.<br>• Organize and file necessary documentation for employee records.<br>• Collaborate with team members to address compliance-related inquiries.<br>• Assist in auditing I9 forms and related materials to identify and rectify discrepancies.<br>• Ensure timely updates and proper record-keeping for compliance purposes.<br>• Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the leadership team.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within Human Resources or administrative support.<br>• Proficiency in filing, data entry, and managing documentation effectively.<br>• Strong communication skills for handling inbound calls and addressing inquiries.<br>• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and correct errors in compliance records.<br>• Familiarity with I9 compliance processes and employment verification regulations.<br>• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.<br>• Proficiency in basic computer applications and data management tools.
