Customer Service Representative II
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative II to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. This is a long-term contract position that requires exceptional communication and organizational skills to assist customers effectively. The role involves interacting with the public, reviewing documentation, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures related to vehicle impoundment and disposal.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br>• Provide clear guidance to customers on required procedures and documentation for vehicle release, auction, or disposal.<br>• Explain impoundment policies, including fees, restrictions, and the impact on vehicle registration and tags.<br>• Examine official forms, such as police reports and towing receipts, to ensure accuracy and completeness.<br>• Verify the authenticity and validity of customer documents, including vehicle registration, driver’s licenses, and insurance coverage.<br>• Determine appropriate steps for vehicle release or disposal based on specific circumstances, such as legal violations or abandonment.<br>• Access Department of Motor Vehicle databases to check for liens or outstanding violations associated with impounded vehicles.<br>• Schedule and coordinate administrative hearings to address disputes regarding vehicle impoundments.<br>• Maintain accurate electronic records and perform filing tasks to ensure organized documentation.<br>• Deliver superior customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.<br>• Execute additional duties as required to support operations.
• Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.<br>• Proficiency in Office applications for documentation and record-keeping.<br>• Strong skills in indexing and filing to manage electronic and physical records effectively.<br>• Ability to analyze and interpret official documents and customer-provided information.<br>• Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and resolve disputes.<br>• Familiarity with Department of Motor Vehicle systems and procedures is a plus.<br>• Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.<br>• Commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
