<p><b>DevOps Engineer</b></p><p>On-site | Austin, TX | Contract-to-Hire</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate software deployment and infrastructure management processes</li><li>Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software releases</li><li>Create and manage infrastructure as code (IAC) for cloud-based and on-premises environments, automating provisioning, configuration, and scaling</li><li>Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively, ensuring high availability and optimal system responsiveness</li><li>Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for tasks such as configuration management, monitoring, and system maintenance</li><li>Implement and maintain security best practices to protect data and systems, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to design and implement solutions that support application scalability, performance, and stability</li><li>Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure resources and services</li><li>Conduct regular system backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data integrity and availability</li></ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)</li><li>5+ years experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a track record of successfully implementing DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines at an early stage company at scale</li><li>Strong proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages, such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or Python</li><li>Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes</li><li>Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with branching and merging strategies</li><li>Deep knowledge of cloud platforms and services (AWS), and the ability to manage cloud-based infrastructure</li><li>Solid understanding of infrastructure networking, security, and best practices</li><li>Experience with monitoring and log management tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack) for system performance and error tracking</li><li>Familiarity with database management and administration, including SQL and NoSQL databases.</li><li>Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related areas (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Contract Benefit Offerings:</strong></p><ul><li>Healthcare (medical, dental, and vision plans)</li><li>401(k) and retirement plans</li><li>Commuter benefits</li><li>Employee and vendor discounts</li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li><li>And many more!</li></ul>
