We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate and efficient management of accounts payable processes. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing industry. Responsibilities: • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accurate account coding and compliance with company policies. • Utilize automated systems, including AP automation tools, to streamline payment and reconciliation processes. • Collaborate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain positive relationships. • Manage accrual accounting and ensure timely reporting of financial data. • Perform auditing tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance within accounts payable workflows. • Utilize ERP systems to maintain organized and efficient financial records. • Handle ACH payments and other electronic transaction processes with precision. • Provide support in implementing and improving accounting software systems. • Monitor and reconcile expense reports in Concur to align with company policies. • Assist in month-end closings and other financial reporting duties.
