<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Company</span></strong></p><p>Our client in the semiconductor sector is currently looking for a 1 year contract Operations Buyer to manage end-to-end operational procurement and purchase-to-pay activities.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><p>The role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end operational procurement and purchase-to-pay activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice clarification, buy-sell processes, material movements, and related commercial documentation within Oracle ERP.</p><p>The position monitors demand, inventory, supplier commitments, and delivery performance to identify supply risks, expedite critical materials, and resolve procurement escalations in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.</p><p>The role provides functional leadership to the Operational Buying team through daily prioritization, workload coordination, coaching, onboarding, and backup planning, while acting as a subject matter expert and key user for Oracle ERP procurement processes.</p><p>It also leads operational reviews, KPI reporting, process standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives including automation, digitalization, testing, and implementation.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><p>You should have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field, or a comparable commercial vocational qualification with substantial relevant experience. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in operational buying, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within a production, high-tech, semiconductor, automotive, or engineering environment.
