This is a high-impact, build-from-scratch role suited for a finance leader who thrives in fast-evolving environments.<br /><br /><br /><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><p>As the Group Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the consolidation and financial reporting scope for Singapore while partnering closely with the Group CFO on global consolidation matters.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead end-to-end consolidation for Singapore entities across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles</li><li>Partner with Group Finance on group consolidation activities and reporting</li></ul>Manage complex accounting areas including<br /><ul><li>Joint ventures and equity method accounting</li><li>Non-controlling interests</li><li>Multi-layered ownership structures</li><li>Intercompany eliminations</li><li>Prepare supporting schedules, technical accounting papers, and audit documentation</li><li>Oversee statutory reporting and regulatory compliance in Singapore</li><li>Drive intercompany reconciliation processes across jurisdictions</li><li>Act as the key point of contact for auditors, banks, and external stakeholders locally</li><li>Design and implement scalable finance processes and internal controls</li><li>Build and develop the Singapore finance team as the function grows</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><p>As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience</p><ul><li>Degree in Accountancy or ACCA / CPA / CA</li><li>Prior external audit exposure with a Big 4 audit firm</li><li>Strong technical expertise in IFRS with proven experience in group consolidation, including complex structures (joint ventures, equity method accounting, non-controlling interests)</li><li>Ability to operate independently across geographies and time zones</li><li>Prior experience in driving projects involving system implementation, process improvement and efficiencies will be a strong advantage</li><li>Prior exposure to shipping or asset-intensive industries is advantageous but not essential</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, challenge as well as partner key stakeholders</li><li>Hands-on and execution-focused, builder mindset with a desire to create and scale processes from the ground up</li><li>Proactive, autonomous and solutions-driven; able to manage ambiguity effectively</li><li>Curious, pragmatic, and motivated by ownership and responsibility</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today</span></strong></p>Please send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number <strong>STE12231329</strong>, by clicking the apply button.
