Robert Half’s Catrina Simbe Recognized as Silicon Valley Business Journal Woman of Influence

Catrina Simbe

One of our outstanding team members has been nominated for her exceptional work both in and out of the office. She was recently recognized as one of the Silicon Valley Business Journal’s 2015 Women of Influence.

Catrina Simbe is the Director of Permanent Placement Services for Robert Half, overseeing all Robert Half Finance and Accounting divisions serving the Silicon Valley in Oakland, San Jose, San Mateo, and San Francisco. Catrina began her tenure at Robert Half in 1998 and has had a rewarding 16-year career with the company.

Catrina frequently volunteers her time to a number of our community initiatives, including Dress For Success and Junior Achievement. She has also served on the Silicon Valley board for WISE. Catrina is passionate about developing future leaders and helping women reach success personally and professionally.

Catrina is also the executive director and founder of Tyler's Grace Foundation, a program devoted to providing families diagnosed with terminal cancer the opportunity to make precious memories together. After losing her husband, Robert Simbe, and son, Tyler Simbe, to cancer in 2013, Catrina wanted to ensure that period of time when a loved one has been diagnosed terminal is memorable and treasured by offering families a week of protected quality time. The objective is to provide families with a break from extensive hospital visits, long nights, draining days and the fatigue of fighting cancer.  With the assistance of its strategic partners, Tyler’s Grace Foundation gifts families with a week's stay at a restful location where they can put the stress of their daily routine aside. Instead, they can focus on creating memories, making the most of the precious time they have together and, as Tyler would say, make each day "the best day ever!"
