This is a broad role that combines technical accounting responsibilities with financial analysis, planning support and stakeholder engagement.<br /><br />Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role will take ownership of key financial reporting and control activities while also supporting business performance through analysis, forecasting and stakeholder engagement.</p><p>Key responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Deliver accurate and timely monthly financial reporting, providing meaningful analysis around key business drivers and performance trends.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning processes, helping the business make informed decisions</li><li>Prepare consolidated reporting across multiple entities and assist with statutory reporting requirements.</li><li>Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to provide financial insights and challenge assumptions where appropriate.</li><li>Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support business initiatives, investment decisions and growth opportunities.</li><li>Assist with audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls</li><li>Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve processes and enhance the quality of financial information available to the business.</li><li>Contribute to the delivery of month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and reporting remains robust.</li><li>Support finance leadership with ad hoc analysis, projects and strategic initiatives as the business continues to grow.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong><br />We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant who has worked in a business with some size and scale. Ideally the successful candidate would have worked with a Group of companies and preferably with some exposure to import and distribution.</p><p>You must have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>Proven experience in a Financial Accountant or similar position</li><li>Strong month-end reporting and technical financial accounting expertise</li><li>Exposure to multi-entity and/or multi-divisional environments</li><li>Knowledge of foreign currency accounting and treasury processes</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and strong systems capability</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p>Please send your CV in Microsoft Word format by clicking the apply button.
