Description :Our client is seeking a AP manager with experience in vendor management. The role is responsible for providing effective day-to-day management of global services vendor programs including but not limited to travel, utility, office supply and shipping/logistics vendors. Through effective vendor management, this function will ensure that efficient and responsive vendor services are provided to employees, strategic sourcing and key vendor relationships. The Vendor Program Administrator is responsible for the development and ongoing improvement of centralized vendor programs through implementation of effective processes, procedures and tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manages day-to-day administration of key global services vendors such as UPS, OfficeMax, NISC, AMEX, and
other travel-related vendors.
Arranges performance reviews with key vendors to evaluate vendor performance and makes recommendations to
address issues and exploit opportunities.
Assists with vendor program performance evaluations and ensures additional information needs of strategic
sourcing function are met.
Collaborates with employees and vendors to resolve complex issues.
Monitors and oversees overall activities of the vendor relations and vendor analyst functions.
Maintains process documents and communicates changes or updates to the vendor team.
Monitors utilization and compliance with the Travel Expense card program.
Monitors compliance with travel and other vendor program agreements
Responsible for annual 1099,1042 and 945 reporting and compliance.

Requirements :The Vendor Program Administrator with have five years of relevant experience, a Bachelors Degree is preferred along with an Accounts Payable Certification. You will have the ability to understand and interpret financial data. Proficiency and demonstrated experience with ERP systems used for processing of transactions required, and Excel a must.
