The Senior Accountant will be supporting financial transactions, compliance, and reporting as well as supporting the day to day accounting operations, month-end close, annual audit, budgeting and financial requests as required.
*Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information.
*Responsible for general ledger.
*Coach and support co-workers (financial and non-financial) on policy and best practices.
*Lead and organize audit work.
*Assist in Budget process.
*Financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis.
*Lead month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely results
*Perform account reconciliation and assist team with complex accounting activities
*Assist in documenting and monitoring internal controls
*Compile standard and ad-hoc monthly and annual accounting reports and analysis
*Perform as a business partner to Senior Leadership across regions or functions
*Assist team on Accounts Receivable invoicing, Accounts Payable vouching and Purchase Order invoice matching.
*Assist with inventory controls and analysis.
*Other projects or duties as required

Requirements :Job Requirements:
*Bachelors degree in accounting or related field, CPA candidate or Masters preferable
*Proven understanding of general accounting and finance principles (minimum of 4 years of experience)
*Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
*Excellent communication and written skills
*Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives and deadlines
*Demonstrated ability to adapt and work with financial systems
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
*Ability to work in an environment where change is a constant
