Our client is seeking an HR Generalist for a contract-to-hire opportunity.
POSITION OVERVIEW
To provide Generalist business partner human resource support for a global organization. The Generalist will work closely with their assigned business units on the roll out of performance and talent management, compensation and benefit administration, employee relations, coaching of leadership and employees, talent acquisition and retention. Partner with Global HR staff to deliver best in class HR support across business.
JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide generalist HR support, including employee relations to assigned business units.
• Assure local implementation of Compensation Benefits policies.
• Establish strong working relationships with department managers.
• Recruit, screen and interview job applicants, including identification of recruiting needs, sourcing of qualified candidates, and selection of applicants in tandem with management team.
• Onboard new hires, including new hire and benefit orientation.
• Serve as link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and providing guidance.
• Assists in maintaining Human Resources Information System.
• Establish succession plan for critical positions within business, using standardized succession planning tool, and working with leadership and employees of all levels.
• Provide strong change management and communication support to business, using organization development skills and frameworks.
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality in daily tasks.
• Responsible for Company’s compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all employment matters and handles requests for information from any regulatory agency.
• Ensure that all necessary filings required by regulatory agencies are completed on a timely basis.
• Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters

Requirements :

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources. Talent Acquisition and HRIS experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
• A service-oriented individual with a high energy, positive and friendly demeanor
• Ability to respond to continually changing priorities and coordinate multiple projects
• Strong computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
• Ability to balance working independently with being a collaborative team member
• Ability to build trust-based relationships with hiring managers
• Ability to work across all levels of the organization and develop recruiting strategies for positions from front line to executive level
