Are you a team player? Can you collaborate and communicate well with a diverse group of colleagues?
Ever wonder how to showcase these nontechnical, sometimes hard-to-define soft skills when interviewing for a job or how to identify them when recruiting new employees? These traits are being required more than ever for accounting and finance professionals. The in-demand attributes range from strong communication abilities and awareness to being an open and flexible collaborator.
But how do you hone these skills to adapt to different environments or colleagues with varying work styles, backgrounds, attitudes and values? Global staffing company Robert Half and Latino business association ALPFA are bringing together a panel of experts to answer that question and many more.
The complimentary, 60-minute webinar, “Critical Nontechnical Skills: The Essentials for Success in a Diverse Workplace,” is scheduled for Jan. 30, 10:00 a.m. PT/1:00 p.m. ET. It's aimed at hiring managers and professionals at any stage of their careers. One unit of free CPE credit will be offered.
The panelists will look at how interpersonal skills can be developed individually or through training from your employer. The panel will be moderated by Robert Half senior executive director Paul McDonald and ALPFA CEO Manny Espinoza.
