Description
A client located within the WYNDMOOR health system is seeking a Admissions Coordinator to join their team. As Admissions Coordinator, you will cover both the Emergency and Radiology departments. Your responsibilities as the Admissions Coordinator will include but are not limited to: Answer incoming calls, provide accurate and friendly customer service in a timely fashion, triage patients and check them in using the EMR system, schedule patient appointments, assist with mailing and document shipping, faxing, filing, and various administrative projects as requested.
Requirements
The ideal Admissions Coordinator will have one plus year of patient admissions/registration experience. Proficiency with Siemens SMS Invision/Cerner Invision required. Experience using EMR systems such as Epic, GE/IDX Rad preferred. This position requires strong customer service skills and excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.
