JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Information Technology reports to the Chief Financial Officer, and has four direct reports covering ERP, Business Applications and Analytics, IT Program Management, Information Security, and IT Operations and Compliance. This is a senior leadership position within a merchandising client of Robert Half's and is responsible for setting the strategic vision and roadmap for the IT organization and technical solutions to effectively support the overall strategy of the business. This starts with being a highly engaged strategic business partner to the senior leadership of this client in order to align the strategic business requirements with knowledge and performance of IT organization and existing and emerging technology solutions.

With alignment follows effective execution of day to day business support requirements (infrastructure, cyber security, compliance, application and desktop support), key strategic business initiatives (NPD, global collaboration, information enabled products, and productivity), and IT continuous process improvement initiatives. This will require the IT leader to drive a consistent and robust Intellectual capital process to recruit, retain, develop, and promote associates in the IT organization capable of supporting the maintenance of systems, implementation and update of existing and new systems, a compliant and secure environment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This will also require the IT leader to stay abreast of technology, security, and compliance trends to drive change and innovation that support profitable growth.

The successful candidate will be accountable for IT for a global business with revenues of $200+ million and growing. The business is currently transitioning to an online recurring business model which will be an industry changer and positions us as the industry leader. Estimated global travel up to 50% with the majority of travel being from Atlanta, GA to Williston, SC.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
? Develop and drive a strategic vision and continuous improvement roadmap for a global IT environment that optimizes organizational and system performance consistent with the strategy of the business.
? Stay abreast of emerging technology, security, and resource trends and effectively translate to meaningful information for broader organization and action in support of the requirements of the business to drive profitable growth.
? Manage the performance and development of the global IT organization to effectively support IT Security, IT Operations, ERP and Business Applications, and Compliance. Establish and communicate goals and objectives, routinely measure and review performance, and hold team accountable to progress on goals and ultimate results.
? Manage third party IT vendor relationships and agreements, contract negotiations, and delivery on all services.
? Drive and deliver on committed timelines and results for on-going strategic and operational initiatives.
? Provide routine updates to senior management on latest IT trends, status of key projects, and performance of IT organization and IT operations.
? Build strong working relationships with CIO of Crane and functional leaders of Crane Merchandising Systems to clearly understand expectations and align those with results of the IT organization and systems.
? Participate as an active member of the CFO leadership team and contribute to regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
? Lead by example as a CBS leader in driving standard work, KPI management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
? Coach and mentor the IT organization and foster an environment of effective communication, transparency, personal development, continuous improvement, and results.
? Manage global IT expense and capital budgets in support of strategic and operational objectives. Routinely assess changing requirements and trends and impact on budget in accordance with the needs of the business.

KEY QUALIFCATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS
? Experienced leadership with 10 to 15 years of increasingly responsible positions, with proven track record of success in a global multi-location manufacturing company with increasing complexity.
? Significant leadership experience with organizations and proven track record of success working in publicly traded companies is a requirement.
? Bachelor?s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline is required. MBA preferred. Technical certifications a plus.
? Experience in a QAD ERP environment including version updates and new implementations is preferred.
? Experience with global MPLS network is required. Experience with SDWAN is a plus.
? Experience in cyber security monitoring and remediation and SOX compliance is required.
? Demonstrated experience and proven track record in delivering process improvement, high performance infrastructure, and ERP and business application solutions.
? Demonstrated experience and proven track record in building effective teams, recruiting bench strength, promoting within the organization, and to driving positive change and innovation.
? Demonstrated experience and proven track record of developing and a strategy and vision for the IT organization and systems in alignment with business strategy with positive results and execution.
? Must be a role model of unyielding integrity.
? Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Must have a tenacious work ethic.
? Must have strong interpersonal skills, written, spoken and listening ability.
? Must be self-directed with ability to motivate others.
