Robert Half Finance is looking for a highly analytical team player that is detail-oriented and ready to hit the ground running. Located in Webster, Texas, this position is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work, confidentiality, and integrity. In this role, it will be critical for you to sign a NDA, performs a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties according to established policies and procedures. Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers. Maintains contact with staff, vendors and clients and observes confidentiality of client and firm matters. prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. Your responsibilities

? Generates accounting statements and reports.
? Code documents according to company procedures
? Access computerized financial information to answer general questions as well as those related to specific accounts.
? Researches, receives, and records cash receipts; codes and posts receipts, checks, and vouchers.
? Prepares daily bank deposit- to be reviewed by management.
? Researches and applies unallocated cash.
? Oversees accounts, accounts payable write-offs and payment reversals.
? Develops automated spreadsheets.
? Operates office equipment including personal computer, copiers, fax machines and 10-key calculator to perform calculations and produce documents.
? Organizes and maintains up to date financial records: Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep financial records, using journals and ledgers or computers.
? Provides monthly financial and management reports: Compile statistical, financial, accounting or auditing reports and tables pertaining to such matters as cash receipts, expenditures, accounts payable and profits and losses.
? Maintains telephone and personal contact with attorneys, staff and vendors on payables matters as directed by manager.
? Reads, uses and is familiar with computer systems manuals and procedures, maintains and updates procedural manuals as needed.
? Organizes and maintains retention files for required period of time.
? Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
? Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
? Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
? Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
Requirements
? 8-10 years Full Cycle AP/AR experience including Collections, General Ledger, and Financial Statements will take less experience with Bachelor Degree
? Heavy Word, EXCEL, pivot tables, formulas, and vlookups,
? Accounts Payable write-offs and Payment reversals, check runs, matching, batching, coding
? Accounts Receivable cash receipts, heavy research to reconcile and report discrepancies, Compile Aging?s and Reporting
? Expenditures, Profit and Loss, Preparing and Interpreting Financial Statements
? MUST PASS all candidates required to undergo all candidates required to undergo background check
? MUST SIGN Non Disclosure Agreement
? MUST BE TEAM PLAYER
