This Wayne County firm has a great culture and environment and they are presently seeking a Senior Technical Accounting Analyst. If you are hired for this Senior Technical Accounting Analyst position, you will be responsible for: managing the monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation processes of 40+ domestic and foreign subsidiaries; lead responsibility for preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual internal and external financial statements, as well as all regulatory financial statements and; lead responsibility for technical GAAP research, accounting issues, as well as make/buy, insure/self-insure, and sale/leaseback transactions across the company; serve as primary contact for the external auditors for all review, audit and benefit plan engagements, including preparing and reviewing internally-prepared audit schedules; perform all purchase accounting functions for acquisitions; and have other special projects including presentations to executive management. Our client has annual revenues exceeding $10B annually and they are presently looking to hire a highly skilled professional for their team for a Senior Technical Accounting Analyst. For consideration candidates will need to have 3 or more years of professional experience including: worked in public accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, SEC reporting including 10-K, 10-Q, previous supervisory experience, solid GAAP understanding, and financial analysis and variance explanations.
