The Network Engineer will provide the organization advanced technical support and expertise for all network infrastructure including network, storage, and computer resources. The Network Engineer will perform a wide variety of evaluation, installation, and training of hardware and software to ensure the IT infrastructure meets company expectations, as well as provide recommendations and direction regarding network and system configurations and installations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
? Work closely with and support Network Administrators and Help Desk Analysts to maintain Windows Server application environments and provide technical oversight and consultation as needed.
? Design, Install, and support of the global wired and wireless network as well as core network services (IP Voice, IP routing, vLANS, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Firewalls).
? Design, Install, and support of Enterprise Storage technologies including SAN, iSCSI, Fiber Channel.
? Design, Install, and support of VMware virtualization technology including installation, upgrades, and configuration.
? Design, Install, and support of secure remote access systems and tools.
? Provide input and support for disaster recovery efforts (both real and simulated).
? Display effective and professional interpersonal skills including written and oral communications with the IT team and the rest of the organization.
? Other duties as assigned.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
? Conduct research on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.
? Maintain policies for asset management; including maintenance of component inventory, hardware lifecycle, software releases and run books.
? Maintain connectivity and uptime service level agreements.
? Monitor and report on compliance with security policies.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
? Minimum Bachelor?s Degree in computer related field
? VCP Preferred
? Minimum CCNA or CCNP Preferred
? MCSE preferred
? 5-8 years with designing and implementing local and wide area enterprise networks and deep knowledge of TCPIP routing and internet connectivity.
? 5-8 years of enterprise wireless systems installation and configuration
? 5-8 years with VMware vSphere design, implementation and troubleshooting
? 5-8 years with working with SAN storage technologies (Nimble or Netapp experience preferred)
? 5 years of experience with Cisco firewalls (ASA, Firepower)
? 5 years of experience with Cisco Routing and Switching
? 5 years of experience with Microsoft Windows server and Active directory design
? Deep experience with Windows Server Networking (DNS,WINS,DHCP)
