Description
We currently have a short-term temporary-to-full-time opening for an intelligent, highly-skilled Receptionist in a growing company. Your responsibilities

- Answering all incoming phone calls

- Put in orders for office and kitchen supplies

- Oversee various office files and provide general office filing support

- Manage various office files and provide general office filing support

- Aid other administrative staff with support overflow work, including word processing, data entry and Internet research tasks

- Structure, filter, and hand out incoming mail according to specified procedures

- Bring a sense of urgency and prioritization skills

- Be a welcoming presence for visitors
Requirements
- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must

- Demonstrated knowledge of working as an assistant

- Correspondence and drafting experience highly preferred

- Conference call coordination experience

- Projects experience desired

- General familiarity with navigating basic office equipment and protocols

- Practical knowledge of conference room setup cleanup

- Background working with meeting coordination and planning

- Proficiency in switchboard phones of more than 31 lines

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of quality

- Earlier work involving copying

- Office supply and equipment ordering experience preferred

- Good understanding of data entry

- Foundational knowledge in customer service

- Adeptness in calendar managements and scheduling appointments

- Email experience highly valued

- Prior experience with Microsoft Word

- Comprehension of editing

- Foundational knowledge in special projects

- Switchboard phone (10 -30 lines) experience highly desired

- Previous experience working with database management

- Computerized switchboards experience preferred

- Scheduling experience

- Experience with Microsoft Excel

- Strong familiarity with scanning

- Strong customer service and office administrative skills

- Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Optimistic, creative, resourceful, solution-oriented, and tech-savvy
