Description
Robert Half Healthcare Practice is actively seeking a well-organized and motivated Front Desk Coordinator for a high-end Optometry office in San Francisco. As a Front Desk Coordinator, we are looking for a positive self-starter who is eager to thrive in a dynamic environment, deeply passionate about providing high quality administrative support, enjoys helping others and is passionate about growing their career. The ideal Front Desk Coordinator enjoys helping others, friendly, flexible, loves taking initiative and is eager about growing their career.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Answering and routing phone calls in accordance with office policies
- Greet and direct all visitors including vendors, clients and customers
- Registering and scheduling patient for eye appointments
- Ensure completion of paperwork, sign-in and security procedures
- Verifying and updating patient demographic and insurance information
- Observing strict patient HIPPA confidentiality
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in an Optometry office
- Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred
- Previous experience with a healthcare practice management system preferred
- Previous experience within insurance verification and authorization required
- Knowledgeable about eyewear, contact fittings, and frames
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
