Our client, a leading ESRD laboratory for independent dialysis providers, is in need of 3 Warehouse Associates/Material Handlers!
They provide testing and electronic ordering and reporting services. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be primarily focused on ensuring that orders are correctly labeled and staged on designated pallets. The Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Warehouse Worker will also be entering data for FedEx and UPS in order to prepare orders for delivery.
• Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using a computer
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards
• Picking orders for shipping
• Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses
• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment
• Clean and maintain supplies, equipment and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
• Work in a manner that is safe for self, co-workers, customers and product
• Interact with customers on orders, shipping and deliveries
• Cycle count support for inventory accuracy
• Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required, college preferred
• Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to physically bend, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
• Detail oriented and able to read and work with large product numbers
• Able to work efficiently and work well under stress and time pressures
• Able to work 1st or 2nd shift and weekends as needed
