Description
This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be interesting to any detail-oriented individuals hoping to join the ranks of a successful Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt company. What you get to do every day

- Carry out a full-cycle A/P

- Carry out additional tasks as assigned

- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

- Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling

- Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

- Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

- Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

- Facilitate internal and external audits as needed
Requirements
- Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Solid understanding of accounts payable

- Well-founded grasp of W2 - 1099 - T4 Preparation

- Bank reconciliations experience highly desired

- General familiarity with billing

- Check processing experience

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Account reconciliation experience

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- Strong time management and organizational skills

- 2+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
