Description
We have an opening for a Sales Assistant in an exciting opportunity for driven self-starters that are eager to expand their career. This is an excellent opportunity for hard working, driven individuals. If you're interested in a s Direct Hired -full-time employment opportunity, there is a Sales Assistant position available through OfficeTeam for a company based in
South Phoenix.


The position requires you to work with an assigned set of outside sale people , an established set of customers and an established set of clients . You will be required to manage existing sales contracts , which means you must :

1. Record and maintain established prices and contracts.
2. Manage price increases to existing customers
3. Manage deliveries
4. Coordinate factory schedules to customer schedules
5. Inform the outside sales person of any issue and communicate what is happening with their customers and their existing contracts and orders .
6. Work on new pricing requests , understand the time line of the new request , and make sure the pricing request is submitted on time .
7. Follow up on price request to see if we won or lost, understand why we won or lost , and relay this info back to the client and sales person

2. Ability to time manage and prioritize
3. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
4. Ability to analyze customer pricing and requirements
5. Ability to establish relationship with our clients and customers
6. A natural curiosity to learn about our clients and our customers .
7. A strong desire to find solutions to our customer?s and client?s problems
8. A natural confidence that with allow them to take matters into their own hands
a. Understand that some actions needs to take place
b. Have the confidence to take action to solve an issue
c. Have the confidence to reach out to various people and places to achieve a solution
9. Enjoy working in a small office
10. A desire to have systems in place that improve the work place or sales operations
Requirements
Technical Abilities :

1. Basic Math Skills ( simple math , percentages , fractions ? )
2. Spread Sheet development
3. Power Point Presentations
4. Some Marketing Skills ? writing news letters and sending out marketing emails
5. Managing customer data base
6. Good writing skills ( emails )
7. Must be organized
8. Assist with the Web site
9. Microsoft Word , Outlook , Excel , Power Point , Ability to learn and work with our web site .
