TCG has a client in Center City Philadelphia - looking to bring on a UX specialist!

Position
Our growing team is in need of a Website UX Specialist to help sustain and enhance the overall user experience on websites. This position requires an expertise in all stages of UX and web production from inception to completion.

The Website UX Specialist’s primary responsibilities will be 1) managing the planning and execution of user interface enhancements 2) ensuring that the functionality on VP’s websites are performing to specifications via testing and QA 3) pulling, analyzing and reporting on various sources of user data to inform digital strategy.

This position will also support related web and organization-wide projects, including marketing programs and initiatives.
This position reports to the Director of Web Technology and will collaborate regularly with the Web Project Manager, Web and Email Marketing Specialist and the Vice President of Digital Strategy, among other key positions.

Please note that this position is asking for a broad range of skills across the UX/UI discipline. The successful candidate will have experience and competency in the majority of responsibilities below.

UX Enhancement:
Work with the Director of Web Technology and Web Project Manager to execute UX enhancements on VP websites.
o Create wireframes, mockups, user flows and/or prototypes.
Continually audit the aesthetic and functionality to ensure the websites’ UX and UI is optimized to meet the goals of VP.

Plan and execute approved enhancements.
Work closely with the Web & Email Marketing Specialist on the integration and placement of
advertising on VP websites and consumer emails so that the ads are effective while the user
experience is not adversely affected.

Help execute back-end CMS improvements.

Testing & QA:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of website enhancements.
Thoroughly cross-browser test staged web developments before they go live.
Log, document, and report on UAT progress.
Send developer detailed feedback and direction on failed tests.
Ensure that the functionality of the user interface of VP’s websites are performing to specifications.
Periodically audit website functionality to check for newly introduced bugs.
Review priority bugs with Web Technology Director.
Send detailed bug reports to web development vendors for fixing.

Data Analysis:
Measure the overall effectiveness of the user experience on VP websites.
Pull KPI data from Google Analytics and other sources.
Analyze and report on web performance findings to inform UX decisions.
Execute A/B split testing for key pages and templates.
Recommend user testing scenarios to be run on websites.
Set up test parameters in a web-based tool, e.g. Optimizely.
Report on findings and prioritize enhancements as needed.
Assist internal team on various other digital metrics including SEO, social media performance,
advertising performance.

Admin & Reporting:
Work with web project manager to maintain a prioritized and scheduled list of web
enhancements.
Work with web project manager to create status reports for meetings and executive staff
review.
Assist in the creation of slides and collateral for presentations and meetings as needed
Misc. other tasks as needed.

Requirements
3+ years of relevant Web experience in a UX or Producer capacity (Agency experience desired)
• Proven track record of enhancing the user experience on digital properties
• Experience translating data into insight, strategy and direction
• Desired Technical Skills: HTML and CSS; Adobe Suite or similar tools; Wireframing tools (Sketch or others); Google Analytics; WordPress; Chrome Developer Tools or Firebug experience.
• Pluses: Experience crafting and analyzing web A/B tests; Web conversion tracking experience; HTML5 Video experience; Google Tag Manager; Web accessibility knowledge and experience.
• Ability to manage multi-task work in fast-paced environment; willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines; excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
• Passion for and knowledge of Philadelphia and the five-county region
