Orlando company is looking for a Human Resources Manager - Training & Development. The company is looking for a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities of the Human Resources Manager - Training & Development will include, but not limited to the following.
-- Work with Management & Leadership to develop and implement training and development strategy.
-- Meets with organizational leaders to assess, evaluate and understand training and development needs of team. Acquires proposals from leaders on suggested training opportunities and evaluates appropriately. Determines along with leaders the feasibility of attending local and/or on-line training versus training requiring travel.
-- Track organizational wide training initiatives and hold team accountable for utilization. Follow-up regularly to ensure compliance with usage.
-- Identify ideal resources for approved training. Negotiate pricing where applicable.
-- Evaluate effectiveness of training and provide summary reports to leadership, determining impact of training on team member skills and organizational goals. Implement and collect training summary memos.
-- Provide logistical support where necessary for training events. Recommend a course of action and timelines based upon a deep understanding of the business and functional issues and resource availability/constraints.
-- Inform leadership of status and any deviations from the original plan to meet the overall goals.
-- Develop and prepare training materials as needed. Facilitate trainings as required. Organize and conduct train-the-trainer sessions as appropriate.
-- Diagnose and coordinate bridging skill gaps. Collaborate with internal leadership to assess gaps between objectives and current workforce skills/ capabilities. Develop and execute training and development solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
-- Research and implement an on-line learning management system as appropriate. Ensure HR and compliance training occurs regularly.
-- Conduct employee orientations for new hires. Follow-up with new team member on-boarding program to ensure all meetings and trainings occur.

- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of experience
- Communicate effectively with others both verbally and written.
- Work both independently and with others as necessary.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to review work for accuracy and completeness.
- Think independently and develop solutions to problems.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
