Our client, a national, property management firm experiencing tremendous growth and investment, is looking to hire a skilled Property Accounting Manager to their team. If you are hired for this Property Accounting Manager role, you will report to their Director of Accounting and be responsible for the following: Prepare financial reports and financial statements for assigned properties; Review the work of your property accountants and their portfolio of properties; Analyze and review both financial reports including coordinate with property managers for variance analysis; Review and prepare journal entries; Oversee balance sheet accounts and reconciliation processes as required; Support special projects including allocation models, accounting policy changes, and continuous improvement initiatives; Help to supervise and lead management reporting; Maintain fixed asset schedules; Monitor cash balances and coordinate with their AP team; Assist with yearly budgeting process setup and analysis; Review bank reconciliations and work with senior leadership to resolve outstanding areas; Work with a support year-end reporting process; Coordinate with their external auditors; Work and lead the development of your staff including training; Other Duties as assigned by your team.
