Privately held company is seeking a Senior Human Resources Coordinator to work closely with the Director of People. Together you will lead and execute all human resource and talent management strategy in our nationwide organization while continuing to build a people-focused culture. The Sr. HR Coordinator helps to facilitate a smooth and timely flow of communication for the Director of People. S/he provides assistance with administering the day-to-day administrative functions and supports the Director of People as needed. The Sr. HR Coordinator also serves as a resource for employees who have HR-related questions or problems. In addition, the role encompasses the following responsibilities: Responsibilities Include: Responsible for recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letters and onboarding. Manage new employee paperwork, I9 verification, and entire New Hire Experience. Responsible for 100% accurate and timely data entry of all new hires, promotions, separations, etc. Maintain HRIS data, conduct audits, and generate reports. Organize and maintain HR related files and employee information, while maintaining strict confidentiality of all records and issues. Manage Paid Time Off accruals. Assist with payroll and benefits processing and administration. Assist with roll out and implementation of updated Employee Handbook and associated policies, procedures and processes. Lead new hire orientation. Assist with any general ad-hoc HR projects as they arise. Good interpersonal savvy – able to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people. Able to manage through complex issues by asking the right questions, utilizing resources, and gathering data to triage and solve problems. Has the courage to tackle difficult problems and acts with resilience when faced with challenges
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required; undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management or related field. 1+ year of experience in HR administration. Proficient in all major Microsoft applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
