Description
The Creative Group is looking for a strategic social marketing manager for a six-month position on the social media team within for one of our clients.

This is a hybrid role requiring the core capabilities of strategy, project management and creative, all rooted in social marketing. Your job will be to formulate and execute social-first strategies across both organic and campaign activity, ensuring innovative creative output by guiding and informing conceptual creative teams. Specifically, this job demands a passion for and content expertise in Country music, its audience, and its related genres, including folk, Americana, and Christian. You understand the voice, values and vocabulary of this audience, and know which platforms and behaviors to activate in order to deliver authentic and engaging social marketing.

The ideal candidate will have experience marketing country music or to an audience with country music affinity; a replenishing curiosity about the ever-changing social media landscape; an instinctual creative eye for thumb-stopping social content; an understanding of the streaming category and its key players; and a positive, collaborative disposition in the workplace.
Requirements
Must haves:
- 5-7 years of experience working in marketing / social marketing, either at an agency, label or client side
- Deep understanding of paid social strategy / social analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills
- Has a flexible schedule and is available to travel
- Candidates should know social media platforms and paid media mechanisms.
- A collaborative mindset and proven track record of influencing peers
- Experience running and delivering complex digital/social marketing projects
- A strong creative sensibility, POV and ability to share + sell creative work
- Ability to work under pressure and with imminent deadlines

What you?ll do:

- Directly manage social campaign workstreams and have oversight of the social process from brief to campaign analysis
- Execute organic social support and community engagement tactics for new music and milestone releases
- Provide boots-on-the-ground support at Live and Experiential events
- Work directly with artists and creators to capture content, coordinate posting schedules and ensure social parity
- Maintain a cross-channel Social Content calendar
- Leverage human, cultural and audience insights to develop interesting social creative strategies for creative teams to deliver against
- Manage agency partners (creative and media agencies)
- Analyses of social content performance and audience insights (paid and organic) to inform longer-term strategic decisions for content and platforms.
- Present planning and results to key stakeholders
