Description
Our client is seeking a Project Manager and Business Analyst who is Project Management Certified (PMP) or has LEAN Six Sigma certifications. The Project Analyst is responsible for analyzing Lean Sigma, process improvement and business process projects for the HR Operational Shared Service Organization. This position will use Lean Sigma, project management, and change management methodologies to support the successful execution of process improvement and other core services projects across the Shared Services Organization. This role will require innovation, influence and leadership through collaboration across all levels of the organization. As a member of the OpEx / Business Solutions team, you will be working to analyze and deliver services related to governance, and project management and program management tools.
General Responsibilities include:
• Lean Sigma: Support and analyze process improvement projects in multiple functions of HR Operations Compliance. Work with Project Managers to drive projects to successful completion using Lean Sigma, project management, and change management skills and tools
• Assist with project documentation and tracking, including process mapping, root cause analysis and task monitoring
• Deliver education and facilitation of Lean Sigma methodology tools, enabling employees to fully participate in improvement projects
• Project management: Partner with a Project Manager to participate in project initiation, tracking, reporting and day to day execution
• Work with leaders across the organization to ensure consistency of project execution.
• Assist with appropriate project scoping/execution for teams
• Facilitate project execution
• Manage assigned projects through use of project management best practices to ensure customer, time, quality, and cost requirements are met
• Assist in managing overall project plans that integrate key activities of functions associated with project lifecycle and maintain overall project documentation
• Participate in and assist with cross functional process improvement initiatives and the global exploration of new avenues for improving business process cycle times, lead times and the overall quality of output/service to internal and external customers
• Through collaboration with project team, identify project risks, including probability and impact, and develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize risk impact throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Competent in managing cross-functional projects; highly organized, maintains rigor of process, and holds task owners accountable
• Excellent listening skills and an ability to translate spoken discussion into process flows and other documentation
• Excellent written communication; competent making presentations, giving status updates and speaking at cross-functional and cross-site meetings, including virtual sessions
• Lean mentality; ability to discern and document important facts simply and concisely
• High attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Proven problem solving, decision-making and issue resolution skills
• Working knowledge in the application of problem-solving / root-cause analysis methodologies; working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies; ability to assist in the facilitation of Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping events
