Currently seeking a Senior IT Compliance Analyst for direct-hire who will be responsible the IT governance and audit of 8 offices across the US, Canada, and Mexico. The Senior IT Compliance Analyst will lead a team of other Compliance Analysts responsible for providing regional leadership annual SOX documentation review. The desired Sr. Compliance Analyst will have 4+ years of experience in compliance, governance, and/or audit. The candidate must have a college degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Certifications strongly preferred. Other responsibilities include:

1) Develop, implement, review, and update IT-related policies and procedures in accordance with the internationally recognized COBIT IT governance framework
2) Design, implement, review, and update SOX documentation for IT general computing (ITGC) and automated controls (ITAC)
3) Implement controls to ensure conformance with application licensing agreements
4) Perform monthly external user access reviews of user, service, and privileged accounts, countermeasure any discrepancies, and maintain documentary evidence of review
5) Ensure regional compliance with SOX and other company policies, as well as maintain current knowledge of IT regulations applicable to the company
6) Provide coordination of IT audits (internal and external) and develop effective remediation of deficiencies
4) Coordinate and review disaster recovery planning and testing

• College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Association certifications (preferred)
• 4+ years experience with information systems compliance and audit work for a business or consulting firm
• Experience in the development of effective preventive, detective, and mitigating IT controls
• Testing and evaluating IT systems and controls for effectiveness and conformity with industry standards
• Familiarity with the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT) framework and control objectives
• Presentation skills required to lead meetings and articulate issues
