Description
OfficeTeam currently has an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Project Assistant with a company in the Nonprofit industry! Do you enjoy conducting research and working on a variety of projects? As a Project Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the project manager and all applicable personnel with tasks needed. We are looking for a candidate with the requisite skills talent to take on this exciting new career opportunity. Major responsibilities

- Researching information online

- Handling data analysis and report development, proofreading and editing documents, and preparing presentations

- Keeping project deliverable schedules on track and assisting Project Managers by organizing team meetings and communication according to project specifications

- Communicate project information to key partners

- Assist project teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

- Recording meeting minutes and maintaining records of tasks and progress

- Requesting further information for documents that are deemed incomplete

- Planning travel and accommodation details for training seminars, conferences and additional project-related events
Requirements
- High school diploma or its equivalent, though a BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field is preferred

- 1 year of experience in a business/office setting required

- Expertise in database and file management

- Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

-Demonstrated abilities with the Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

- Microsoft Project, JIRA, Mavenlink, and NetSuite is desired

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

- navigating basic office equipment and protocols experience preferred

- Detailed and have the ability work independently

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
